The Soul Lounge are six professional musicians — West End experienced, Mercury Award nominees, international touring players and resident musicians for some of the UK's most prestigious venues — who perform private events, weddings and festivals at the same level they perform everything else.
Fronted by Ric Stanbridge, whose credits include The Beatles' Let It Be and the Small Faces' All or Nothing — both Broadway and West End productions. The band's roster also includes PP Arnold's musician Jules Nelson, Mercury-nominated brass player Tim Parkin (founding member of The Bees and 77:78), saxophonist Mike Holdcroft, drummer and Mercury-nominated 77:78 member Chris Phillips, and touring theatre guitarist Rob Capewell. International saxophonist Gary Plumley (Terry Callier, Swing Out Sister, Michael Kiwanuka) joins as an additional musician on select performances.
Based on the South Coast of England, The Soul Lounge performs nationally and internationally — from intimate private celebrations to 500-person headline shows. Confirmed for the Isle of Wight Festival 2026.
